Merry Christmas to one and all!

This year has been a great year. We have been so blessed with health, love, and happiness! Here's a quick snapshot going from youngest to oldest.

Joseph is the perfect blend of calm to balance out his energetic sisters but with enough spunk to not be squished at the bottom of the pile. He loves teasing his sisters and is becoming strong enough that jumping and tackeling them has to be done softer than he's used to. He loves rough housing and once he has all the ladies in the house exhausted, he patiently waits for dad to come home to "rough him up." He still loves cars, for those of you wondering.

Nicole is still full of vim and vigor. Enough to keep us all hoppin'. She has been working on not being such a creative tornado, or at least cleaning up after herself as she Tazmanian Devil's it around our house. Nicole loves science projects, bugs, and her new favorite animal is every kind of bird. When we go to the Library, you can bet she will be bringing home a stack of bird books! This summer, she was baptized by her father. It was a special event for our family.

Arielle is such a kind and loving young lady. When she smiles, sunshine fills our home. She spends every other Saturday with friends of ours who have 7 horses, 6 dogs, 3 ferrets, 3 cats, and a bunch of chickens. She loves being with these people and their animals. She still draws and her animal sketches are becoming so lifelike! She recently joined our church choir with Lindsey and loves singing around the house.

Lindsey is growing into such a beautiful young lady. She loves Young Womens, singing, taking care of her new frog Saqqara, and playing with friends. We have been amazed at how well she has been able to listen to songs and play them on the piano by ear. She has a growing collection of increasingly complicated music that fills our house with beautiful music. She is organized and quite a leader in our home.

Christy is still homeschooling, and still loving it! She continues to write and paint and is working to publish her first fantasy novel. With the triumphs and discouragement involved in that venture, she feels more and more like a "real" writer. For relaxation, she started playing the piano again. She serves as Visiting Teaching Coordinator and Assistant Activities Chairperson in our church as well. Life is full and wonderful.

Jeremy still has his Cobra Mustang and loves taking people for rides. He has spent some time fishing the river this year which produced some of the best smoked salmon we have ever had! He is also serving on our Home Owner Association Board. In our church, he was just released from the Elder's Quorum Presidency and is serving as a Gospel Doctrine Teacher...too much fun! He is working hard to keep loans coming in as well as looking for work that is a little more stable until things get better with the economy.

May you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Love,
The Andersons!
